collar bone

So now that the new blog has started the pressure's on. Trying to think of what to write about, and the most prominent thing I've got going on right now is my broken collar bone. I've probably told the story over 100 times by now, so I don't think I can bare to type it again here. Long story short, I crashed my mountain bike on the Mid Mountain trail in Park City a little over a month ago. It was on what is possibly my favorite section of trail ever which is kind of a bummer since I'll never think of that the the same. Very stoked to get out there and ride it again as soon as I'm back on the mtb. Since the crash it's been an interesting experience. I've done a pretty good job coping with the down time, and reading a lot, but there are some times I just don't really feel like myself. It's crazy how much exercise changes who I am and how I think. It really makes me appreciate it, and really looking forward to getting going again. I'm close now, and should be back on the road bike any day now.

OK, now I feel like the blog is getting boring already. Time to add some pics and sign off. Figure I'll add a couple from walking Mocha in the park. Since the summer has heated up he goes for at least 2 or 3 swims every walk. Now that the runoff has mellowed out the stream is crystal clear, and it's tempting some times to go for a swim myself.

Hopefully as the days pass and the collar bone heals the posts will get more exciting

back at it

Seems like a good time to come back to blogging, and to start a new blog. Alex moved on from the 2811 blog, and I haven't posted anything since then. Facebook took over most of my... not sure what you'd call it really - internet time? I'm taking a break from Facebook now since it's a little overwhelming to be in touch with almost everyone I've known since roughly grade school. So now it's time to blog. Blogging lets me write, which I rarely do other than e-mails, and also makes me stoked to take more pictures. So here goes...
